To install an update for your Windows Phone
1. Start the Zune software.
2. Connect your phone to your PC with a USB cable.
3. When Zune prompts you to install updates, click Update Now and follow the on-screen instructions.
You can also check for updates by going to Settings, Phone, Update. If an update is available, click Update.
Note
You must have the latest version of the Zune software before you can update your Windows Phone. If an update is available for the Zune software, you will be prompted to update it before you can update your phone. If you need help with your phone, please contact your mobile operator.
It is compatible with the “USB Mass Storage” norm. Get a USB cable (There might be one in your Nokia Lumia 800 package) and, linking your Nokia Lumia 800 to your computer should make it appear as a memory key. Open it and just drag MP3 songs or other sound or music files directly to your Nokia Lumia 800, as if it was one of your computer’s folders. For the details, please refer to your Nokia Lumia 800 manual.
To sync items from your Windows Phone to your collection
1. Connect your phone to your computer.
2. In the Zune Music + Video software, click Device/Phone or the Device icon.
3. Drag the items you want from the collection on your phone to the Collection icon (in the lower-left corner of the screen). Sync starts immediately.
